Our Pork
 
 
We raise Oxford Sandy & Black pigs - a rare breed ideally suited to a free range lifestyle. Maturing slowly on a natural diet produces quality pork and sausages.
 
These friendly and entertaining pigs originated in Oxfordshire some 200 years ago. They have an attractive sandy colour with black spots - hence the name!
 
They are a key part of the rotation of the farm, ploughing and fertilising the land where we plant our arable crops.
 
Most of our pork is sold as half pigs and we usually have a selection of frozen joints and sausages in our Farm Shop. We will have half pigs available in July and September 2005.
